Dr. Litos Mallare is a board certified Psychiatrist. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and
treating the full spectrum of Psychiatric illnesses including mood, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse
and eating disorders. Dr, Mallare has an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University, Master’s
degree in Psychology from Cal State Los Angeles and MD degree from the American University of the
Caribbean. He did his first year of residency training in Surgery at University of Vermont and finished
his residency training in Psychiatry at UCSF.
Dr. Mallare’s current Psychiatric practice includes hospital Psychiatric Consultation and Liaison,
residential substance abuse treatment and detoxification, IOP and PHP and teaching medical
students. Dr Mallare is committed to restoring his patients’ mental health and thus restoring their
wellbeing and quality of life. Dr. Mallare enjoys his free time playing guitar, doing outdoor activities and
sports and hanging out with his dog Bowzer.
